Here are the Easter pics I promised.
I heard from Vickie yesterday. They took Maryvonne to the hospital in Rennes via helicopter. She was really scared because she's afraid of both heights and helicopters, but she made it just fine. Now comes the hard part. On top of all this, Chantal, Vickie, and Klaus were in a car accident Monday. An elderly man lost control of his car and crashed into their parents' new car. Luckily no one was hurt.
The good news is it's only 8 days till I'm back with Wayne and the kitties. Countin' down.

Unbelievable! So glad Vickie, Chantal, and Klaus were uninjured! A lot to be thankful for.

Hi Guys,
We finally made it back home after a very long trip. The kitties were so happy last night! Mom is waiting for some other exams on Monday and then should go for surgery, probably Tuesday. We don't know yet exactly what they will do other than implant the cardioverter-defibrillator. The surgeons have been talking about the ablation she was scheduled for before her heart failure and they are also talking about another open heart surgery later. In the meantime, Mom is a trooper and keeps her sense of humor. As for us, the accident was very scary to say the least but we survived it. Chantal had to be sent to the hospital by ambulance for x-rays of her back but we went to pick her up after 2 1/2 hrs. Klaus and I were fine and didn't need to go. The 3-week old car is wrecked and needs to go to the shop for a while to be fixed. About 4000 euros of damage on it... Insurance will take care of it since the old dude was driving in our lane. Anyways, I'm back in the office today. I'll get some pictures ready this week-end since we got to do some site seeing in the morning. Hope you all had a nice Easter :)
