Kayaking also in Va Beach!

Well this week-end was also a kayaking one for me! I went to my favorite beach as usual and got to paddle for over an hour in the middle of 20 to 25 dolphins!!! Absolutely FANTABULOUS!

I swear, it's the best. You can definitely smell them when they pass by you. They are gorgeous.

I was so mad at myself for forgetting to bring my dry bag so no pictures but next season, I'll be prepared! So hope everyone had fun too!

Fall means Kayaking in Southern Florida and Miami Ink

As the summer comes to a close and we anticipate cooler days, our attention comes to Kayaking. Susan went on a search for a rack - Well here it is! Then, we had the problem with putting it on the Jeep - logical step- went to the Jeep Dealer and met Ryan. He said that they couldn't do it, but, he and his roommate could.

We dropped the Jeep off and went snorkeling with friends and came back to the condo to regroup before going on the town. Ryan and his roommate showed up and showed us their handy work - My, My, it was quality craftsmanship! After a few beers, Ryan and roommate started showing their tattoos. It was amazing.

Thanks to Susan finding the perfect rack for the Jeep and Ryan and his roommate, we are ready to hit the waterways! No aligators please. I think Frank needs a tattoo - don't you?

The Georgetown Folks come to Delray Beach

Our neighbors Kate and Mike, a friend Annette, and another friend Dickey used their time share to visit Delray Beach. Their place is 2 blocks from our condo - we have had a great week. Last Saturday, Susan was returning from Hampton and got on the same plane with Mike and Kate. They flew into Palm Beach International Airport - and the fun hasn't stopped. Photos: Top - Mike and Kate's condo on the beach - Next - Bru's Sport's bar for the Steeler's Game ( Kate and Dickey are from Pittsburgh) - then many Delray hotspots and then the Blue Anchor (this was a pub in London - disassembled - reassembled in Delray - andddddddddd brought over a ghost with it). Sorry to see them leave this weekend!!!!

Fantabulous week-end

So I had an absolute FANTABULOUS week-end in Delray Beach! Wayne and Susan are the greatest hosts. Susan's art looks great and it is true, pictures don't do it justice. I got to see the parrots and yes, they are loud! The condo is so cute! I can't believe Susan managed to get it so nice and comfy in such a short time. The beach and restaurants are better than you can imagine. That's what I call landing in paradise (after a little bumpy flight...)! Thank you a gazillion to the 2 of you for the awesome time in Florida :) Luv,

Where's my Lime?

Vickie's visit was really FUN! Her plane was late getting to Miami; but, we made the best of it and stayed up till 1:00 am talking and laughing. Saturday, the three of us hit the beach. The water is fantastic - the perfect temp. Saturday night, we hit the local restaurants for some really good drinks, appetizers, and finally really great Italian food at Luna Rosa's on the Beach. Sunday, Karen and Erik drove up from Ft. Lauderdale to go snorkeling. We ended up at Red Reef park. The waves were rough and the reef was crowded; but, we still had a good time. Then, we hit the Blue Anchor for dinner, and a band. Monday, Vickie's friend Robyn and her friend Aaron drove up for another day on the beach. Later, we headed over to Boston's for dinner. Vickie's visit was a whirlwind. Oh, she took the great photo of the parrots that come by each night and squawk a tropical hello. Vickie's plane left today - what a great time!
