Susan and I arrived in Hampton on New Years Eve - hit the Farm Fresh for last minute supplies - neighbors and friends started arriving. It was so great to see old friends we hadn't seen in a while. We toasted the New Year with the best of friends from Hampton and Virginia Beach. Here's to 2009 - a new President - a new beginning.

Sorry to have missed it. Looks like a good time. I committed to Mary's party before I knew you were having one. Plus there were folks we had to see at the Carytown ball erection. The Carytown event was nice and mannerly. Lots of peace and love in the street. It was great to be with my girls and their beaus, and The Green Boys.
